it's 2010... what I'm doing... - February 2, 2010

Hey everyone!

so I've had a few questions lately about what I am doing and what my direction is. So, I figured I would give a little bit more detail about my direction going forward.

As you know, I am an illustrator, which means I tell stories through visual imagery. My pursuit is to connect people with products, entertainment, and inspiration. I want to challenge everyone to see life in a different way. Whether it makes you smile, laugh, disturbed, or just plain irks you, my success will be accomplished.

As far as my current and future projects that are in the works, here are some people and projects involving my collaboration...
-Clothing/Fashion Design
-Album Art for musicans
-Writers(Children's Books, Graphic Novels, and Comic Books)
-Businesses(Logos and Corporate ID)
-Sports(Skateboarding, Snowboarding clothing and deck design)
-Character Design
-Toys and Figurines
-Stickers
-Posters
-Murals

...and of course, Painting and Drawing(as always) for upcoming gallery events.

For anyone that stops by my site and has some questions, please feel free to send me an email.

what is new... - December 20, 2009

Christmas is coming this week. Which gives me an excuse to visit family and friends. :)

For all of you that got a chance to see the beginnings of the large mural that Erik Schaffert and I were working on at SYNDICATE in October, I would like to give you an update on it. This week will be the 3rd session that Erik and I will be working on it. It's coming along great! Something tells me it will be done and ready to show by March... or at least that is what I am hoping for. The combination of our styles is pretty interesting. You can really see a difference in our line work. I'm not sure what we are going to call this piece, though it does have a very Asian influence. I'll post some pics of it as things progress.

Other than that, I have a couple new series of paintings that i am starting. One of them is a figurative series. That is something i have not focused on in quite some time. I'm excited to show you the results.

That's all for now. Send me a message if you have any questions or ideas you might want to discuss.

p.s. here's a pic of a little tiny painting i was working on over the summer...size = 2"x2" ...lol
